Glasgow City 4
Whelan (5), Walsh (21), Sullivan (45, 65)
Glasgow City would continue their winning start to the season with a dominant 4-1 win over Motherwell at Petershill Park.
Head coach Leanne Ross brought in American midfielder Aleigh Gambone for her first City start alongside Chloe Warrington, Erin Clachers, Kenzie Weir and Cori Sullivan.
It was Whelan who almost opened the scoring in the opening seconds went her run and drive went narrowly wide of the goal.
The Irish international would put City in front shortly afterwards though when she fired home after great work between Lauren Davidson and Kinga Kozak.
And City would double their lead with a bullet header when Walsh met Cori Sullivan's left wing corner to blast beyond Emily Mutch in the Motherwell goal.
A sublime through ball from Gambone then almost saw Weir smash home a third, but it was well tipped away for a corner.
The away side would find themselves back in the game just after the half hour mark though when Boyce smashed home a long range drive into the top corner.
Mairead Fulton would then be denied a superb first goal of the season when her rasping shot cannoned back off the underside of the bar.
Ross' side would ensured the fans didn't miss out on the spectacular though when Sullivan fired a cross-shot that flew into the net.
City almost had a fourth to celebrate early in the second period when an excellent ball from Walsh was latched onto by Sullivan who crossed perfectly for Whelan only to see the ball go inches wide.
Chelsie Watson almost grabbed one back for Motherwell shortly afterwards when her header just cleared Clachers bar on the hour mark.
Sullivan would then score the second of the evening when she curled home directly from a corner to cement a dominant City win.
