The latest international window saw a busy period for Glasgow City, with several players representing their home nations in the 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup qualifiers and international friendlies.
SWNT - Amy Muir and Lee Gibson
Co-captains Amy Muir and Lee Gibson were called up for Scotland's double-header fixture in the 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup Qualifiers.
Scotland recorded two huge victories, 6-0 and 5-1, with Amy replacing Claire Emslie at half-time in both matches. The results secured Scotland's place in the World Cup play-offs and earned promotion to League A.
Congratulations to Amy, Lee and the SWNT squad on the successful campaign!

Slovenia - Lana Golob
Lana represented Slovenia against top-level opponents, Austria and Germany, in the FIFA Women's World Cup qualifiers. Named in both starting line-ups, Lana played a key role in defence across the two matches.
Slovenia fell short on both occasions, narrowly losing 1-0 against Austria and 2-0 to Germany.

Poland - Natalia Wróbel
Natalia joined the Poland squad for FIFA Women's World Cup qualifiers against France and the Netherlands. Poland fell short on both occasions, losing 2-0 to France and 3-1 against the Netherlands.
Natalia missed the second match after sustaining an injury in training. We wish her a speedy recovery.
South Africa - Linda Motlhalo
Linda travelled to Osaka with Banyana Banyana for a double-header against Japan. While South Africa suffered a 5-0 loss in the first match, they bounced back to claim a 1-0 victory in the second, with Linda opening the scoring in the ninth minute.
The goal marked her 25th international strike, alongside her 99th appearance for the national team.

Finland U23 - Sofia Määttä
Sofia represented Finland's U23 side in three friendlies against Portugal, Brazil and South Korea.
Finland secured an impressive 4-1 win over Brazil, with Sofia finding the net in the 23rd minute. They later lost narrowly to Portugal (1-0) but finished their campaign with a 2-1 victory to conclude the campaign.

Well done to all of our players on international duty - your hard work and achievements continue to make the club proud. Now it's time for a well-earned rest and recovery ahead of next season.
