Leanne Ross and her Glasgow City side are on their travels for the first time in the new Scottish Women's Premier League season this weekend as we make the journey north to face Aberdeen.
Following an opening day win at Petershill Park against Motherwell, City are set to come up against Scott Booth's Dons, who were beaten 5-1 by reigning league champions Hibernian in their first game of the campaign.
With our visit to Cove, we will be looking to make it two wins from two in the league, but also to claim a good result in our final domestic match before we embark on our UEFA Champions League qualifiers in Austria.
Last Time Out
We began our season at the Peasy with a 3-0 win against Motherwell. It was an impressive start from City as we raced into the lead with all of our goals coming inside the opening 23 minutes.
Last term's top goal scorer Nicole Kozlova put us ahead with 12 minutes on the clock, before Katie Lockwood made it two only four minutes later. The former would get her second of the day soon after - with those three first-half goals enough to secure us the three points.
Previous Meeting
Our last meeting with Aberdeen was not too long ago, as we hosted the north-east side in a pre-season match at Petershill Park which we won 2-0. Natalia Wróbel and Kozlova scored for City.
In the SWPL, we last played the Dons in January of this year when we claimed an emphatic 6-1 win on home turf. Brenna Lovera and Kozlova both bagged a brace, while Wróbel and Lisa Forrest were also on our scoresheet.
