Last Time Out

It was a party at The Peasy as Glasgow City closed out the 2025/26 SWPL season in style with a 6-0 victory over Rangers. Lana Golob marked her return from injury with the opener, before Hayley Lauder and Lisa Forrest fired City into a three-goal lead at the break.

Lisa Forrest added two more to the scoresheet after the break to claim her hat-trick before Emily Whelan added to the tally as City delivered a ruthless attacking display to end the season on a high.

Previous Meeting

It was disappointment at Hampden after a 3-2 defeat in extra time of the Scottish Gas Scottish Cup semi-final. Despite making a strong start and controlling large spells of the contest, we fell behind to a Saoirse Noonan header. After the break, Linda Motlhalo levelled from close range.

With the sides locked at 1-1 after 90 minutes, Celtic struck twice in extra time before Emily Gray found the net in the closing moments, but City were unable to find another equaliser as Celtic progressed to the final.
