Following a historic evening in the UEFA Europa Cup in midweek, City return to Scottish Women's Premier League action this weekend, making the short trip to Hamilton Academical.
City make the visit to the reigning SWPL 2 champions looking to extend our 100% run in the league, with Leanne Ross and her side being the only team yet to drop points this campaign.
Last Time Out
It was a night to remember on Wednesday as we defeated Irish side Athlone Town 3-0 at Petershill Park to claim a maiden win in the Europa Cup in the First Qualifying Round.
Amy Anderson etched her name in our history books as she scored our first-ever goal in the new European competition, which was also her debut goal for Glasgow City since signing last summer.
In the second half, Linda Motlhalo netted her first goal of the season - and her first since returning to the club for a second spell, before Lisa Forrest rounded off proceedings with her second goal in as many games.
Our last SWPL outing saw City claim an impressive 5-0 win over Montrose. The victory on home turf ensured we continue our perfect start to the league campaign with three wins from three and with no goals conceded.
There were three first goals for Lana Golob, Erín McLaughlin, and Mebae Tanaka, with Abi Harrison and Forrest also getting in amongst the goals.
Previous Meeting
We last faced Hamilton Accies in pre-season at Petershill Park in July, as we claimed a 9-0 win. Nicole Kozlova netted four, with Golob, Lisa Forrest, Katie Lockwood, Emily Whelan and Academy player Freya Ashmead also getting on the scoresheet.
Our last league encounter against this weekend's opponents came in the 2023/24 season. City beat Accies 6-0 at the Peasy thanks to goals from Whelan (2), Aleigh Gambone, Lauren Davidson, Wilma Forsblom, and Cori Sullivan.
