We returned to ScottishPower Women's Premier League action for the first time in 2026 by claiming Peasy derby bragging rights as we beat Partick Thistle 3-0 at Petershill Park.
Amy Anderson scored her first league goal of the season to give us the lead inside the opening 15 minutes, before bagging her brace by the half-hour mark to make it 2-0.
It was 3-0 by the 51st minute as Natalia Wróbel extended our advantage, which rounded off the goal-scoring action in the derby contest.
Match Action from Petershill Park
Against Thistle, there were three changes from last weekend's fourth-round Scottish Cup win, with Lee Gibson, Nicole Kozlova and Mebae Tanaka all named in the starting XI.
Inside the opening two minutes, we had a chance to take the lead when Kozlova met a Lisa Evans cross and struck the ball towards goal, but the forward saw her effort bravely blocked.

From another corner, still within the first five minutes, Emma Brownlie and then Mebae Tanaka on the rebound both their respective headers cleared.
A fingertip save by goalkeeper Jennifer Currie denied Kozlova, with the forward heading goalwards a chipped delivery from Wróbel from the byline.
Anderson gave us the lead after 14 minutes when she bundled the home from a couple yards out following an Evans corner.
We missed a glorious chance to make it 2-0 when Linda Motlhalo won possession back straight from a goal kick, before finding Lisa Forrest, who carried the ball forward and unleashed a strike over the bar.
Goalkeeper Currie once again denied Kozlova, this time making herself present to smother a close-range strike and send it behind for a corner.
And from the resulting set-piece, Anderson bagged her second of the afternoon, getting that all-important touch after the ball bounced around the box from the corner.
There were further missed chances for Motlhalo and Kozlova as the first half continued, but we would still take a commanding 2-0 lead into the break.

In the second half, it would be Kozlova who unleashed the first chance, seeing her powerful strike well held by the home goalkeeper.
Yet we would soon extend our advantage and Kozlova would bag herself an assist doing so. She played through Wróbel, who then slotted the ball into the bottom corner in composed fashion.
The hosts looked to get a goal back with their first chance of the game, but Erin Rennie's strike was off target and failed to trouble City goalkeeper Gibson.
At the other end, Forrest rose above her marker to head the ball towards goal, but an outstretched goalkeeper Currie kept the scoreline at 3-0, making a good diving stop.
In the final 15 minutes, Motlhalo saw a driving shot collected by the home goalkeeper, before Forrest also saw a shot gathered by the Thistle custodian.
There was almost a goal on her league debut for substitute Tao Stark, but her strike on the edge of the area went just over the bar.
