Match Action from Broadwood
There were two changes from Wednesday's draw with Celtic, with Hayley Lauder and Lisa Evans introduced to the starting XI in place of Erín McLaughlin and Abi Harrison.
There was also a special milestone for goalkeeper Lee Gibson, who captained the team. on her 300th appearance for Glasgow City.
The first real chance of the came in the 18th minute when the hosts looked to capitalise on a loose pass back to Gibson, but, after winning possession, Camille Lafaix's strike rolled just wide of the post.
At the other end, Natalia Wróbel weaved herself around several Rangers players in the final third, before unleashing a shot that was blocked by one of the remaining defensive players in blue.

The next opportunity fell to Rangers as we entered the final 15 minutes of the first half, with Calliste Brookshire having a go from outside the box, but it was comfortably held by Gibson.
Our goalkeeper made a great save soon after, bravely diving at the feet of Katie Wilkinson to smother the ball after she was clear through with only Gibson to beat. Our No.29 was alert to make another save to deny the rebound, winning a foul in the process.
In the dying minutes of the first period, Wróbel saw a tame strike along the ground saved by Rangers goalkeeper Jenna Fife, as we went into the break at 0-0.
In the second half, we fashioned the first real chance and it fell to Emily Whelan. Amy Muir cut the ball back to her at the byline, before she curled the strike wide of the target.
Moments later, Whelan tried her luck again, with virtually the same strike having cut inside to beat Eilidh Austin, but again, it went over the bar.
Wróbel was next to have a go, and it came from us winning the ball back high-up before played it through to our No.10, who forced Fife into making a low diving save.
Fife was called into action once more, with Evans hitting a free-kick right at the Rangers goalkeeper, while right up at the other end, Gibson made a routine save to gather Brookshire's curling effort from 20 yards out.
Wilkinson looked to head down the ball towards goal following a cross from the left flank, but it failed to trouble Gibson, as she collected it with ease.
As we entered the final 15 minutes, Rangers substitute Laura Berry looked to fire a powerful strike into the back of the net from the edge of the box, but she hit it just wide.
Gibson soon made a save worthy of her 300th appearance in the 80th minute, getting down at her far post to deny a Wilkinson driving shot wide of the danger.
And she made another vital stop inside the dying minutes, this time with her feet to deny Wilkinson from close range after a ball was sent into the box down the right wing.
But in injury time, we would concede a penalty and it would be converted by Wilkinson, who set Gibson the wrong way from 12 yards out.
